Determine the transition temperature of superconductors
The TMXpert Superconductor is a highly accurate and repeatable solution for measuring resistances of super conductive material, carbon nanotube and silicon nanowire. The test system incorporates Keithley Model 6221/2182A and a temperature controller. The low resistance measurement is achieved through a current reversal technique to cancel out constant thermoelectric offsets that drift over time ensuring the results reflect the true value of the measured voltage. The noise cancellation techniques employed by Keithley Model 6221/2182A reduces measurement noise to as little as 1nV.
Temperature heat up down and cool down cycle plots on the same graph
TMXpert Superconductor simplifies and automates data collection through user selectable options such as start/stop/step temperature, set current, temperature tolerance, stabilization time, temperature soak time and cycling mode (one cycle of heat up and cool down). User can choose the graph append tool to overlap several test data into one graph.
Plots I-V curve
User can characterize their material for the optimum “set current “ (to be used during the resistance-temperature data collection) via the I-V plot feature. Select the start/stop/step current at a fixed temperature (usually 25°C). All raw datalogs are exportable to a comma (csv) or tab (txt) delimited format. Graphs are savable to the JPEG (jpg) format.
