TMXPERT HALL EFFECT

Fully integrated software controlling instruments for Hall Effect
The TMXpert Hall Effect controls the temperature, magnetic field and sample excitation using force current method during measurement. The software enables the user to define and save specifications/configurations. It produces real-time data in tabular and graphical format. User can define a Van Der Pauw sample type for testing through parameters such as thickness and length.
Measurement of rectangular shaped sheet resistance
The Van Der Pauw resistance measurement technique is capable of measuring sheet resistance for any rectangular shaped thin sheet resistance. This technique requires measurement to be performed eight times. This can be realized by using a combination of Keithley switches, SMU and DMM (or equivalent). For instance, the SMU will source current from pin 1 to pin 2, while the DMM measures voltage from pin 4 to pin 3. The switch is used to change the configuration of the current source and voltage measure.
